CAS TRAINING EVENT FOR CRB APPLICATION VERIFIERS
The Churches’ Agency for Safeguarding (CAS) will be running a training event for CRB application verifiers on 19th January 2012 at Methodist Church House, London.. The events will run from 12:30 to 2:30pm. We will charge a £20 payment towards administration of the event. Lunch will be provided. The training session will help you understand:
- How the CRB system works
- Who is eligible for CRB checks
- Your role as a CRB verifier
- How to complete the verification process
- CAS’s role; and
- The disclosure handling process

CAS offers safeguarding, safer recruitment and verifier training to members to enable them keep up to date with current safeguarding and safer recruitment best practice.
