Disclosure Scotland
Disclosure Scotland is an executive agency of the Scottish Government and performs a similar role to the CRB, providing potential employers with information about an applicant’s criminal history. They offer three levels of Disclosure, Basic, Standard and Enhanced. Those working in childcare positions or workers with vulnerable adults providing a social care service should apply for an Enhanced Disclosure. Please click here for more information on Disclosure Scotland.

The Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (which replaces the previous system of Enhanced and Standard Disclosures) commenced on 28th February 2011.
