FEE INCREASES
The Government increased the cost of obtaining Disclosures for paid workers with effect from 6th April 2006. The new fees will be: £36.00 for an Enhanced Disclosure and £31.00 for a Standard Disclosure. Disclosures for volunteers will continue to be free of charge.
PORTABILITY OF DISCLOSURES - new guidance
Disclosures are issued for a specific role and are valid on the date of issue. The CAS does not cater for the portability of Disclosures except between CAS member bodies and then only up to 6 months after issue of the Disclosure and where the role is similar/ compatible. There may be special circumstances in your denomination, so contact your own denomination/ check that specific literature for the current position.
