Safeguarding News - Vetting and Barring Scheme Roadshows

The VBS Roadshows will start on 4th February and end 20th March.  The Roadshows are organised by the Christian Forum for Safeguarding (CFS)will aim is to brief and train up key church officers including safeguarding advisers, management, clergy/ministers and other responsible church officers on the requirements of the Independent Safeguarding Authority’s (ISA) Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS )and the roles and responsibilities within the church. Participants will be expected to cascade training down to their local churches. The locations and dates for the roadshows are Cardiff 4th February, York 13th February, Bristol 23rd February, London (Methodist Church House) 27th February, Manchester 3rd March (fully booked) London Augustana Hall (Fully booked), Nottingham 20th March.
