Our board

CAS is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives from full member organisations and a representative of our associate members. Board meetings are held at least 4 times a year with both CAS' Chief Executive (Mr Stephen Boyo) and Company Secretary (Mr Peter Hammond) in attendance.

The Board is responsible for:

• Providing advice and direction to the CAS' executive management in the development and evaluation of its strategy
• Monitoring the CAS’ management in strategy implementation and performance
• Monitoring the CAS’ legal and ethical performance
• Monitoring accuracy of the financial and other company information provided to stakeholders.
• Monitoring and encouraging the company’s Christian ethos
• Monitoring equality and diversity within the organisation to ensure equal opportunities in all aspects of the business.

CAS Trustees

Our trustees are currently drawn from our full membership body, a representative of our associate membership body and an externally co-opted member. The Board is presently made up of the following trustees:
